I remember taking apart one of those styrofoam differential thrust airplane rc toys and attaching the electronics to something else to see if I could make something new.

Strangely this type of person wouldn't say owt about a small girl being given a sharp knife, flame, hammer and boiling liquids if it involved food prep.

This is pretty much 100% my rationale for buying the 2yr-old a lightsaber.

My problem isn't letting the grandkids use my tools, my problem is I don't understand the tools they want and need. I'm busting my butt to learn enough so I can simply know what to buy for them. It's a good problem to have.
