It's good news that the Government will fund safe cladding for people living in privately owned tower blocks following Grenfell. But will the residents at Heysmoor Heights Liverpool who have already paid be reimbursed? I raised this in Parliament today.

Very pleased to meet with Safety Guide Foundation ambassadors & Stuart Maddox to discuss their work in preventing lives lost through knife crime. We hear too many tragic stories. Schemes to prevent lives ruined through knife crime are welcome.

Great to see campaigning outside Parliament! It is vital that any proposal goes back to the people for a confirmatory ballot with an option to remain in the EU.

Fantastic that St Michael’s train station has been allocated funding through Access for All. However, research from last year revealed that over 40% of GB train stations were still not step free.

The Sunday Times revelations of the Labour Party's cover-up in dealing with allegations of antisemitism are shocking! They make a mockery of the leadership's claims to be taking antisemitism in Labour's ranks seriously.

I voted for a referendum on Brexit and for revoking Article 50 to prevent us leaving the EU without a deal. The referendum motion voted on last night was only 28 votes short of winning! The only way to sort out this mess is to take Brexit back to the people!
