It is true...many undocumented workers pay more in taxes than Donald Trump. But, Donald Trump did pay more in taxes than Mexico paid for his wall, so there’s that. $750

Also workers comp, mileage& expense reimbursement, at least minimum wage, overtime,, possibly healthcare. Protections from discrimination and harassment. Don’t forget the 7.5% employer contribution into Social Security/Medicare - To name just a few things.

I’m not sure why this is not getting more attention, but as we approach the election, CA CONSUMERS must understand that Prop 22 means they cannot hold UberLyft liable if they are injured/abused/killed while using these services.

So anyone should be able to work under any conditions? Cash? Less than minimum wage? Without workers comp? Without overtime? We should just allow a worker to take a job no rules and not hold employers accountable?

Love the “labor wrote the bill” narrative. The Supreme Court laid out the test, that’s literally where we got it & “to boost membership,” please tell me how that works? Workers have to organize into a union. The lack of intellectual honesty is incredible or maybe it’s ignorance.

"We drivers are the little guys..All we ask is a fair deal — to be treated like the workers we are, in the same way all other workers are treated. For us, Proposition 22 is a raw deal. Please vote ." Powerful Op-ed from Uber Driver Robert Moreno

Uber donated MILLIONS to the GOP this week. I wish we could say we're surprised. “They’ll do anything to protect their wage theft ... Donating to the GOP hurts workers and drivers, but that’s what they’ve been doing all along," said .

Employers that owe workers money shouldn't be able to get off the hook by closing down and reopening under a new name. We urge the to close this loophole and protect workers from by signing our bill ! , , ,
