Firefighters Kel Watson-Finch & his wife Laura were 2 of 3 off duty Brigade crew that saved a man's life by performing CPR on a beach. Kel said: “It was just an immediate reaction to help. The gentleman coming round was all we hoped for.”

TODAY: Firefighters in are hosting an open day. It's at Queen's Theatre Green, opposite the fire station, from 12pm to 4pm. There will be a bouncy castle, food stalls, face-painting and a chance to see our equipment and vehicles, including a vintage fire engine
