“He’s soft. At least in terms of the pro sports world. He bends to the will of his team & goes out of his way to be accommodating. I’m not sure if he would chastise a player publicly if his job depended on it.He also might be the best manager in baseball.”

If UR P has a long inning(High pitch Count),U have 2 find a way 2 elongate UR inning on offense 2 give UR P a chance 2 regroup/recover. This is especially true early in game when he has 2 throw X # of more P’S/innings.As a leadoff H firing on the 1st P is probably not best idea.

After each at-bat, inning, play, game (good or bad)... Reflect on it. Get the information. Learn from it, and move on (quickly). Then take the focus off of you and put it back into the team.

Great leaders bring different people all together, all working towards one goal. Toxic leaders separate those people & make sure they know they aren’t a part of the group. MUST WATCH. Especially for you seniors who want to make freshman “pay their dues.”

Big leaguers make errors. Big leaguers strike out. Big leaguers walk guys. Big leaguers aren’t perfect; they’re human. What makes a Big Leaguer a Big Leaguer is their ability to turn that failure & adversity into that which makes them, not that which breaks them... by LEARNING.

This is my guy! took me under his wing when I became a Mustang. He’s shared his coffee and his wisdom with me for the last 5 years. I will miss him terribly.

Infield guru Perry Hill preaches the importance of coming to get ground balls that take their first hop in the dirt of the batting circle. Sitting back and receiving the 2nd hop often doesn’t leave enough time. Practice in BP: Ball hits dirt, automatic charge.

I've decided that I won't sit down to discuss the college recruiting process with parents and kids until they've first listened to this. covers so many important points in great detail that it's going to save me a lot of time in the years ahead.
