Every pregnancy carries increased risk of serious health impacts. No woman should be forced to continue a pregnancy against her will. The decision to have an abortion is complex and deeply personal. It belongs between a woman and her provider.

Abortion. Is. Healthcare. Bans are unconstitutional and dangerous. They will not stop abortion, they will only stop safe, legal abortion. The decision to have an abortion should be between a woman and her provider, without interference from the government.

We are currently fighting abortion bans and restrictions in 14 states — this is not a drill. Abortion access is under attack. Today's the day we take to the streets to defend reproductive freedom. Our dissent is powerful. Our voices are powerful. We won't go back.

Republican lawmakers around the country seem to be taking inspiration from the dystopian dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu in Romania. Controlling women's bodies has horrific consequences. We must reject this un-American way of thinking.

For , whose bill codifying abortion rights was signed in New York in January, watching states go in the opposite direction over the past few months has been "extremely disturbing"

Thank you ! Consumers might not get a bill directly when a hospital overcharges a plan - but they get it when their premiums go up every year. IDR keeps prices down!

Imagine being a domestic violence survivor who calls 911 on your abuser—and then gets evicted for it. That was allowed under the law in New York. We're changing it.

New York families need BOTH - Home Stability Support and rent regulation reform. Action on both fronts is long overdue.

There is still time to act this year to legalize adult-use marijuana, with carefully crafted regulations, and to do so in a way that restores and empowers the communities most impacted by the failed war on drugs.
