When the staff team strategizes to get internet & you can’t decide on 4G or 5G & have to get out your coverage maps. Church life brings along weird tasks!

Congratulations to our Assistant Pastor & the Brobst family as Pastor Cody was sworn in to the U.S. Navy as a Chaplain on Sunday! As was preached, we pray that we would be a sending church that goes out to freely serve others wherever God would take us.

Pastor Cody got quite the interesting medal in the mail after running a 5K to combat Covid-19. 2020 hasn’t measured up to our expectations & hopes, but God sure will provide some stories for the grandkids!

We happened to have an election ourselves recently. We celebrate & warmly welcome the leadership of Ken Bubp, Bruce Longbottom & Keith Doane. They will be installed (Ken will also be ordained) at our Dec. 6th Particularization service. Congratulations in the Lord!

We’re praying for our nation today at the local, state & national level for this 2020 Election. Just as mowing your lawn is part of being a good neighbor, one way to honor that calling is for adult citizens to be engaged in thoughtful, prayerful voting.

Tonight we will discuss one that many people wrestle with! The intermediate state. Is there a such thing as soul sleep? Where do people go when they die before Jesus returns? Email Pastor Cody to join us on Zoom at 8:30pm. All are welcome.

On Sunday, Pastor Cody preached from Luke 19 on shalom & Jesus said: “I tell you, if these (disciples) were silent, the very stones would cry out.” When you look around you, do you see all of creation declaring the glory of God? Do we exhibit that same readiness to point to Him?

So far we’ve discussed the Bible’s reliability, science, human sexuality, Hell, Jesus’ death, suffering & evil, and politics. No big deal right? This week is predestination & free will. Also no big deal 😉 We’re growing like weeds!
