I’m not usually a fan of Christmas books, I am however making an an exception for “Meerkat Christmas” by Emily Gravett. It’s a delightful seasonal tour around the world just perfect for EY/Y1 with brilliant cards to open up which make great writing models inside. Just joyous.

We are busy creating VIPERS comprehensions and would like thoughts as to whether a Scots version of some of the stories would be welcomed by teachers North of the border? Looking forwards to any feedback... cheers!

I have the same Year 7 class on Friday for history and then geography. We spent time looking at what they have studied before. OHMYGOSH. Primary colleagues you are unbelievable - the amount they had covered was incredible. We should never underestimate our Year 7s. Ever.

I have a sub which is brilliant as you know the resources will be high quality. I also have and subscription for the same reason, both outstanding. My wife and I have a joint Twinkl account, don't use it much but some good ideas there.

Been working on some of my CPD for this morning. Looking at narrative techniques. Here we took a colour and used it to create a setting description.
