Lidsville was a 70s cartoon & I may be too. The Site C dam greenwashes fracking/LNG & is a debt & climate bomb. "Point of no return" is sunk cost fallacy talk.

. "We need to look at Site C as a job-creation project, not an energy project ... we don't need the energy." "We have to ask ourselves as ratepayers ... what if we actually spent that on job-creation projects that would keep jobs rather than just for a few years."

It was a fantastic panel. Here is the link to the video recording of the event for those on Facebook. Required watching for anyone interested in the ongoing unsafe trainwreck and cash bonfire that is .

Despicable, and yet the NDP seem poised to double down on it. I guess you saw this...

..This should come as no surprise. Before the election, Energy Min. Bruce Ralston was already prejudging the results of the Milburn review, saying he didn't think cancellation was on the table. Why have a review, then, Bruce & John? What windowdressing was this?

!!! Here's 's mandate letter for the Energy ministry. Looks like it pre-judges the outcome of the Milburn review. It only mentions cost & schedule pressures; no mention of safety or geotech concerns. The dam is slipping, & NDP is full steam ahead?

A first act would be to stop infringing on rights of West Moberly and Prophet River by abandoning the rights violating, ecosystem destroying, money pit that is the dam.

yeah, Zoom sucks... orgs should be using Crowdcast for events, IMO. Much easier to use, and you can replay panels and see all the comments. Check how TPL does events (click on past ones):

Thanks! That’s useful - though I still wish the chat could stay live for a little longer at the end.

Does anyone else find it weirdly abrupt when the Chat box disappears at the end of a Zoom event? So much interesting info in there and so many good discussions - I always wish it could stay up a little longer so people could exchange info.

..Thank you so much to for organizing this excellent panel. The Narwhal is an investigative journalism outlet that BC is incredibly lucky to have. Please become a monthly member! Any amount. We need them.
