NWC kids are filling out end of the year surveys about the library program. It is such a great way to gauge their opinions about reading, genres, and procedures. Plus you may even receive little gems like these. πŸ˜‚

If your Makerspace yarn tends to look like the pic on the left, here is a solution. Place individual balls of yarn in a baggie with a tiny hole poked through it- the yarn comes out easily. Ss must re-roll yarn they decide not to use or may take bag to use at home.

NWC Ss enjoyed the fabulous presentation by the Storybook Theater of Texas this morning. Positive character traits, responsibility, and self control were taught through this fun fairy tale play.

Made it all by hand! One set of numbers in white that don't move. The kids use a color set of numbers to fill in the missing squares. It's for both teachers and students. 😊

Teachers, parents, and students: if you have any extra yarn, crochet hooks, toilet paper/paper towel tubes, Legos, or Play-dough, the library would love donations for our new Makerspaces! Thank you so much! πŸ˜€~Ms. Tharp

Today in the library a class of 5th grade students worked in teams. One team created a Mars rover that needed to carry supplies and another needed to code the path the rover had to take. They then tested out their work in the hallway. Great job students!
