Target specific units of study and propose a Novel Engineering Project...example, studying plants/living things in 2nd grade I suggest we do an NE around the picture book “Muncha Muncha Muncha” By having the structure in place...taking the burden of planning off the teacher.

A5: Be proactive and positive in reaching out to promote the Novel Engineering Room and its benefits to students...specifically connecting with teachers with ideas for how we can collaborate to use it...And keep my candy jar full at all times!

A3: I wanted to increase collaboration between teachers and the media center to better support their work in the classroom particularly with PBL. I and very pleased with the progress we made and the collaborative work I did with each grade.

A2: I moved to a more open and flexible scheduling approach in the media center which allowed me to increase collaboration with teachers and accomplish a lot more with them and their students. It was very gratifying to see all that we accomplished!
