We are working hard to clean up the air we all breathe in Lewisham. Drivers who leave their car engines running while stationary will now face a fine of up to £60 following Mayor & Cabinet agreeing a new traffic management order tonight.

Mayor & Cabinet have agreed measures that mean, from 2020, landlords & property developers will need planning permission if they want to convert a small home into multiple flats in south Lewisham. This will prevent residents from living in cramped & potentially dangerous flats.
