I had to FaceTime goodbye to my mum because the hospital didn’t have enough PPE to allow us to say goodbye in person ... while we watched bona fide British PPE suppliers begging for govt contracts on TV.

Sorry, but the links between VIPs who bypassed normal tender processes and the Tory Party or ministers themselves is only hinted at way down the article. Credit for being the first to say it, no question, but this corruption is a huge deal, and not just per se this time.

Yet France has criminal laws against Holocaust denial, as has every other European country where the Hebdo cartoons were republished. I’m confused 🤔

Apologies for retweeting this shitrag, but none of the other papers has yet summoned the courage to address this. Shame, because The Mail really soft soaps here.

Yes, it's in the Mail. We sent press releases to the Guardian, the FT, the BBC (to whom we offered an exclusive) and others but none of them would cover it.

Lucky you. We’ve bought a house near Cortona, Tuscany. Just a couple more yrs and we’ll be pretty much living in Italy most of the year. When our sons no longer need a UK base, we plan to sell our house here and buy an apartment in Berlin for the winters. Can’t wait.

It’s a remarkable fact that this legal action against ⁦⁩ for refusing to investigate Russian efforts to undermine free & fair elections in the UK is supported by ⁦⁩, former National Security Advisor.

BBC is having a mare of a week, not least because it’s allowed itself to be used as the propaganda outfit of a man convicted of the violent murder of his girlfriend. Certainly raises questions about the judgement of the new DG.
