About 640 new jobs have been created as a result of . More than 275 container refund points are now operating across Queensland and more new sites have opened in the last month. CoEx has also reported that interest in refund point operations continues to grow

More than $54 million in refund payments have now been paid to individuals, community groups and charities as part of the Container Refund Scheme, . This is 35% more than was forecast for this period.
