There are some *very* upsetting themes, but older kids should get a lot from it. I'd hesitate at showing it to under-10s, and older than that would seriously depend on the individual kid.

Disturbing to see people laugh at Nigel Farage getting a milkshake thrown at him. What if it had been a sundae? What if he had rainbow sprinkles in his hair and butterscotch pooling in one of his ears? What if there was a maraschino cherry atop his head? Not so funny now, is it?

Audition for a local amateur production of a musical, last night. I was impressed when I discovered that both Peter o'Toole and James Marsters had been cast in it. That should have been my first clue that I was dreaming. And that I'm currently in L.A. and not home.

Wow. LAX is a surprisingly dull place, isn't it! I mean, even by airport standards.

Yep. But I’ve not worked with him as a writer in many years. We just do beers and burgers.

If only I was an expert in body language I could tell if Theresa May and the others felt good or bad about launching their EU election campaign.

I particularly love their World Cup soccer song. Most World Cup anthems are about "Go out and win! Show the world how great we are!" Del Amitri had a more realistic view of Scotland's chances, and sang "Don't Come Home Too Soon." 🀣
