Today’s ruling is a victory for Dreamers & communities they contribute their talents to across the country. I continue to believe we must solve the DACA crisis created by Trump by enacting legislation to provide Dreamers with a pathway to citizenship.

For more than 3 years, I've fought to ensure the family of Lt. Richard W. Collins, III receives the benefits they are due. I hope their inclusion in the NDAA will bring some closure to the Collins family as they grieve the loss of a special young man.

On Tuesday, the House will consider the NDAA conference report. It is a critically important bill to support our troops. In particular, I'm pleased it includes a provision dealing with renaming bases named for Confederate leaders, which was my requirement for scheduling the bill.

The November jobs report reveals a recovery that is stalled due to Senate Republicans’ failure to act. The pace of job increases leaves us far short of where we were before this crisis began.
