A properly useful read on the state of Brexit opinion. Feels like, as per Clegg today, it's less about shenanigans and lies; more that we're basically just divided down the middle and the roots run deep.

Anyone come across a summary analysis for a general audience of the sectoral impact of no deal Brexit? i.e. which UK business sectors will be hit/benefit and roughly what the scale could be of job losses, what government intervention might look like etc?

Startlingly wise and humane article about careers, happiness, and the human life-course, written by the head of a huge US think-tank who has decided to quit to pursue a more enlightened life.

Just finished 4 hours of meetings in French at my son’s school. My circuits are blown. More Brits should be made to do this. Maybe we’d be a less arrogant country if we’re the ones constantly forced to engage outside our linguistic comfort zone.
