"Gunboat diplomacy" is how imperial nations bully weaker ones. This isn't a defensive op or reaction to anything Moscow's done, it's the US maintaining hegemony by showing a rising power it's got them by the balls & punishing it for standing up to US power

"What would you and your family do?" is just part of the US hysteria over Russian hackers' supposed ability or attempts to sabotage the US power grid. But NYT just admitted has put "landmines" that can cripple the Russian grid because "they don't fear us."

Associates of Venezuelan coup frontman Juan Guaidó embezzled funds raised in Cúcuta, Colombia for humanitarian aid and lavishly spent it on hotels, nightclubs and expensive clothes. This is a monumental scandal! Great work by .

Okay but let's talk about Ben Banneker, a largely self-taught free gay black man who redrew L'Enfant's (appropriate name) plans ACCURATELY FROM MEMORY after Washington fired L'Enfant in 1792 & he took the plans to the city with him. He's why DC actually got built at all.

During the trial of a man charged with aiding undocumented migrants, the prosecutor accused him of doing almost verbatim what the Bible calls on Christians to do

So which part is the peace part: the carrier battle group or the B-52 strike force? Or is it the thousands of troops? Maybe it's the amphibious transport dock?

My latest, based on comments from : The DOJ announced it would be interviewing CIA officials as part of its investigation into the origins of . should be very worried, due to his almost singular role in orchestrating it.

You ever get so badly caught in a lie before? Sen lied lied lied about the and that she gives a single god damn about the black man killed by US Marshals or the community (her constituents) that's risen up in outrage over it.

My latest: Back in 1995, researchers gave spiders drugs to see what effect they would have on how well the creatures spin their webs. After all, what better way for space researchers to spend their time?

Outlets from WaPo to the Guardian to the Intercept to NYT have relied on the Syrian Network for Human Rights as a key source. As I show, that’s like turning to the NFL for research on head trauma or tobacco lobbyists for info on smoking and lung cancer:

The crew of one of the tankers supposedly "mined" by says it wasn't mines, but projectiles that damaged them: "A mine doesn’t damage a ship above sea level. We aren’t sure exactly what hit, but it was something flying towards the ship."

They don't despise autistic ppl in Cuba, either, nor do they treat us like burdens or try to cull us from humanity with eugenics. They understand that ppl have unique needs and they try to meet those needs. Amazing what you can do when ppl are the center of policy & not profits!

It's a truly surreal world where politicians compete for which of their pet regime change projects will get to be next on the Empire's agenda.

Really? Responding to a distress call & removing another unexploded mine is now proof of having planted it in the 1st place? At this point the US might as well accuse of "returning to the scene of the crime" as proof. jfc.

This is essentially an identical rationale to that used to justify Japanese internment during WW2. One can see echoes of it in how the MSM talks about ppl like Natalia & Svetlana Lokhova, too: they're and therefore spies or security liabilities.
