Bots and fake accounts run rampant. They spread disinformation and confuse conversations. These are deliberate attacks on our public discourse. Whatever efforts is making to combat them isn’t enough. Goodbye for now, maybe I’ll be back in 2020, maybe not ✌🏼

After some consideration, I’ve decided to leave for the rest of the year. I want to like this platform, and a lot of the content is helpful & good, but ultimately I find this site polarizing. Extreme views are magnified and nuance is lost.

Looks like the comments get sent to our state senators based on zip code. The poll results pop up immediately. They were not what I expected overall

As someone who was not allowed to participate in public opinion polls etc. for a long time, I am happy to be able to add my voice in the mix, even if the verbiage is off on some questions. the end additional comments are prob the best part.

I took piano lessons every Friday for 12 years of my life. When I graduated high school, I stopped. 2009 was the first song in a long time that got me playing again. Today would have been Mac 27th birthday 💜

I lived in a dry cabin (no running water) for 3+ years and always thought it amusing/alarming that I could live without plumbing, but not without the internet

For anyone who is confused/curious about the CBD trend, I've found this resource to be super helpful. My favorite part is under guidance -> conditions, where the authors have rounded up all the scientific studies associated with a particular disease.
