Not the first time I've heard that. I consider it a compliment. <3

I don't know very well, but she just wanted to also share her experiences, and when she had a similar misunderstanding to mine, you got a bit defensive about it, and so I just shared what I would do if the situation were reversed. (2/2)

Dude, just to be clear, I'm not mad at you, and I don't think you're some sort of terrible human being for making one tweet that could be taken the wrong way. I don't need an apology, but you asked "What else am I to do in this situation" so I just provided a simple way out. 1/2

I mean, there's always the option of saying "Yeah I could see how that might have sounded like an attack. That's not what I meant though, sorry about that!"

Except that you didn't phrase it that way. You just told people to "Stop. Cutting. Carbs" for fad diets and then said "Eat Better," not really mentioning that people should discuss matters with their doctor, or recognizing that really diet is not a "one size fits all" situation.

I'm just saying diet is the same as Mental health. I wouldn't go on Twitter and say "Stop. Using. Xanax." Just because it CAN be an addictive substance. Yes, that's true, but I also don't know each person's situation, so it's really more concern trolling than anything else IMHO.

But if you don't care why are you telling people what you do? You heard from nutritionists you need carbs, that's cool, but you can't know what's best for everyone because it varies wildly from person to person. Health is too tricky a topic to just provide a blanket statement.

Yeah but lots of people still consider it a "fad" because people are using it a lot, like being gluten free. I'm in the camp of "if your diet is working for you, rock out." I'd prefer not to diet shame. The only diet I won't support is Anorexia/Bulemia.

Diets work differently for different people. A low carb/keto diet has been effective for people who have problems with inflammation. What's important is you do it in healthful and responsible way.

I was there (Magic Kingdom) in September and they definitely did not serve alcohol everywhere. Just Be Our Guest. But they did recently change the dining plan to include one alcoholic drink so maybe they changed park policy too.
