I think like a GM but I am not. I am an unapologetically passionate Astros fan. Do not @ me sarcasm or negativity. DO NOT whine at me about my attitude.

I mean EVERYONE raises their OPS 0.187 at age 39 without doing something right? And the all drop 0.224 OPS the next year. One would conclude the Yanks just cheated a hell of a lot better in 2016 than the Astros did in 2017

Aware of all the places Beltran played- w/ Yanks 14-16.He finished 16 mediocrely with Tex (stopped cheating?) He then came to Hou and demanded system. 2014 NYY 0.703 OPS (no cheat?) 2015 NYY 0.808 2016 NYY 0.890 2016 TEX 0.776 (not cheating?) 2017 Hou 0.666 (bad AND cheating)

Development of Codebreaker does not equate to how do we move this from data collection to real time signaling to the batter using Codebreaker

Synthesized with other reports - I think it shows the trash can system was truly developed after Beltran and Cora got here - Beltran and Cora were very responsible for making sure it continued in 2017- because Beltran knew he was sucking and needed help 76 wRC+ in 2017

To all that want to bring up the WSJ article - yes it indicates that the Astros began the process of developing the system in 2016 - it clearly Indicates that the cheating was led and enabled by the front office- I commented about that and the Astros FO harshly

I can see now you can’t read. Bye If you honestly believe there are not credible reports of Boston cheating in 2018, you are more delusional than I thought. I regret ever messaging someone so delusional. Waste of time.

Are you aware of reports that Beltran helped the teams he consulted to cheat AFTER 9/15/17 in 2018 or 2019? Are you aware of reports that Cora helped the team he manage to cheat AFTER 9/15/17 in 2018 or 2019? I am

I love how banging a trash can is more elaborate that sending electronic signals to an iWatch or iPad

Beltran did not repeat the cheating in 2018 to our knowledge. Hell if you want to tell me he did in 2018 as a consultant, I won’t argue. The key issue is did they cheat after 9/15/17. - Astros yes - Red Sox yes - Cora yes and yes - Beltran yes and idk - Many other teams yes

Keep believing point 2. It somehow makes you feel better and superior. It actually makes you the moron.

How am I going to be disappointed when I am telling you I fully expect Boston’s cheating to be improperly minimized

Yes Beltran learned Dark Arts from his time with the Evil Empire (NYY)

Beltran was not a repeat cheater in 2017 and 2018. Cora was. You keep telling yourself that Cora did not cheat in 2018 and it had nothing to do with him being fired. It will make you feel better.

Cora was tired for 2017 AND 2018

Oh we fully expect that the MLB will try to paint Boston out to be less guilty while admitting they broke the rules in 2018 AFTER there were multiple warning letter. We fully expect the media to ignore the facts.

Because BELTRÁN IS DIRTY and has been dirty for years. No one made the same argument about Beltrán. It is fair to say the Mets fires Beltran based only on what he did in 2017, but it’s not true for Cora. One could argue the Mets dumped Beltran BECAUSE the Red Sox dumped Cora.

What you fail to understand is that members of the BOSTON ORGANIZATION KNOW what they did and who led them to do it. They DON’T NEED the MLB to tell them what they did. Sure they could have waited to dump Cora but that would not have made sense for the season.
