Nasrallah claiming protesters blocking roads are asking for people's IDs, alluding to the bitter days of the civil war when people were killed based on their religion. Says, protesters don't have weapons "yet." Mocks this "civil disobedience." Untrue & irresponsible incitement.

Tells demonstrators to end road blockades, asks for protests be confined to squares & after work. Pushes conspiracy theory that funded/supported by some political parties.Presses for formation of a leadership to "negotiate." Best tactic to diffuse the street.

Nabatiyeh gives Nasrallah a response to his conspiracy theory. "We are not funded by the embassies. The free revolutionaries of Nabatiyeh." Donation as small as 50 cents for tents, water, food, etc. is what is funding the .

Cops in riot gear holding their lines very tightly and securely, refusing to let anyone leave the square. They have to ensure safe passage to people who want to leave. They're creating a dangerous situation unnecessarily.

A lighter moment from earlier in the day celebrating a 15-year-old's birthday: "How lucky are you, Nour, a revolution for your birthday." Moments earlier, a guy showed up w/ a big bag of manakeesh to distribute. He didn't know who ordered them.
