Prayers going out to whichever DL used to have the 3-cone and short shuttle records before Ed Oliver went to the Combine. His numbers may end up rivaling the WILL LBs in the class. Crazy hips and change of direction.

Neither. He had an injury he had to overcome and they played him out of position

He’s not dropping. He was already in the same place. The public perception is just catching up with team. Only real gripe for teams is he’s under 6’1 and played under 280. That’s a big deal in the league.

I know. People don’t remember what a freak he and Mario and Clowney were.

I’ll say the same thing I said about Donald when he came into the draft: I would line that dude up, as is, as ROLB in a 3-4 like Pittsburgh’s without hesitation. Oliver would be terrific as an edge on the backside, chasing run plays, getting after the QB, kickin inside in nickel.

I already suggested that as an option and was round play and soundly Blistered by the entire Internet.

You've hit on the best questions. I think you put Aaron Donald in Pittsburgh as their ROLB in base and kick inside on 3rd downs-- he'd be a superstar, just like he is now. For one thing, you have to sacrifice a skill player to double him and that guy ain't blocking AD anyway 1/2

I'll be stunned if he slides that far. And actually kinda ticked off.

Because if he fell into the 20's (or further), it would likely confirm that many NFL organizations are still falling for some of the same player evaluation biases that have plagued them for years that result in them missing out on good prospects.
