The SNP government is threatening to ignore the will of the Scottish Parliament and keep P1 standardised tests. When it comes to our schools Labour will continue to stand up for teachers, parents and pupils against the SNP’s power grab from democratically elected MSPs.

Thousands of people in Scotland are waking-up today not knowing if they will get enough work to pay the bills. It doesn't have to be like this. Labour will ban zero-hour contracts, introduce a £10 per hour real living wage and give workers more security.

This is the shocking reality of life in under-staffed NHS wards across Scotland. The SNP can't continue to ignore our NHS staff. Labour has listened and we will invest more money in our NHS to give staff the support they deserve.

Poor mental wellbeing can leave scars both physical and psychological. ’s decision to discuss her own experiences including self-harm will mean a great deal to a great many people. We must continue to do all we can to end the stigma surrounding mental health.

The great expectation surrounding the highlights just how important this time is for Dundee & Scotland. It’ll showcase the best of Scottish design & be a place of inspiration, discovery & learning. I’m sure the people of Dundee will welcome the world with open arms.

I believe in the ‘Town Centre First’ principle, that’s why I want the new Monklands Hospital to be kept in the Monklands. If the people speak then the Health Board & Scottish Government will be forced to listen. Sign our petition to make your voice heard.

Twenty-one years ago today we awoke to the news that Labour’s plan for a Scottish Parliament with tax powers had been overwhelmingly backed by the public. It’s time to use those powers in the interests of working people and create a Scotland that works for the many, not the few.

This is a deeply distressing story but sadly it is not an isolated incident. Long ambulance waits are not uncommon, with responses taking more than 2 hours in Scotland up by 645% in recent years. The SNP must give our NHS staff the resources they desperately need.

It was humbling to visit earlier today. The facility is Scotland’s only 24-hour, non-medical crisis centre offering integrated support to the families and friends of those who have died by suicide.

The Tory National Insurance hike is a betrayal to self-employed workers across Scotland. It is outrageous that while these workers pay more, taxes on big corporations are slashed.

How much more evidence is needed until the SNP government finally ban mesh? It’s time to consign this discredited and dangerous practice to the history books.

A timely report which makes the case for economic change, not simply economic management. It looks to the challenges of the present and future whilst drawing on the past. An extremely important piece of work.

This warning from doctors should not be ignored by Nicola Sturgeon. It’s time for her to stop putting the SNP before the NHS. As First Minister I’d use Holyrood's powers to give NHS staff the resources they need to give patients the care they deserve.

The richest 1 per cent in Scotland now own more personal wealth than the whole of the poorest 50 per cent put together. Only Labour will use Holyrood’s powers to create a society that works for the many, not the few - .
