I like the tip shared by & to slow down the speed of YouTube videos for students. They recommended .75. If the students don’t appreciate it, I’m sure the sign language interpreter will 🙂. I will share this with teachers this school year.

I created my first Escape-Room-Like game using 1 physical lock and mostly digital locks via Google Forms for the last session of our sign language class. It was a hit!

OB, adult sign language Ss from my summer class & an ‘18/19 member from my sign club came out to the local Deaf social. Sign club member was granted a name sign. Culturally, Deaf ppl assign names to non-native members of the community. 😀

I just completed 3 years of TEACHING sign language to LES sign club members. These 4 young ladies were part of the inaugural class and they are the only Ss who have completed 3 years of LEARNING sign language in our sign club.

1st Yr sign club member (top) & 3rd Yr sign club member received sign club's “Outstanding Achievement Award”. “Tiny Teacher” was one of 3 awards 3rd-Year student received from class, but also relevant to sign club - such a great helper.

Two acts in today’s LES talent show included a signed song. One by a deaf sign club member and one by a hearing sign club member! I’m proud of both of these 4th grader for representing to their peers, parents, and teachers.
