This badass Latino nonprofit made a version of the Lotería to play and educate about the importance of the 2020 census. THEY ARE FROM MY HOMETOWN! This is how organizing to reach out to the community works! I LOVE THEM! ✊🏽

Mexican artist “Libre” Gutierrez builds a coyote out of wood in honor of immigrants. There will be 9 of these that trace the train route many immigrants take on their way to the U.S. This one is at La Placita Olvera in front of Union Station.

It wasn't that long ago that I was ringing people up for $5 tees. I actually used to get in trouble all the time for being on my phone on the sales floor. Now being on my phone for a museum IS my job. Absolutely surreal. 🙏🏽 📸: (and me) by 💕

I'm about to meet my museum's board members in three hours for the first time to talk about digital engagement with the Latinx community. I'm excited/proud/ready but also feel like I'm going to pass out. Wish me luck!
