I’m an LAPD motor cop, and some of you might know me as the officer who writes tickets...and yes, I write tickets. But there’s nothing more rewarding than the opportunity to educate a young girl on how to safely walk to school — her smile definitely brightened up my day.

Our people never cease to amaze. A moment I’m sure this young Angeleno will never forget, and a moment that transcended a badge and a uniform. Thanks Officer Arius George for taking a moment to police with heart.

It starts off as a fun night out for drinks with friends. Before you know it, you’re driving back home and come across this. Now you’re wondering if you made the right choices — but it’s probably too late by this point. The right decisions have to be made in advance.

Hi Lauren. It sounds like the officers from came across a stolen car and took a suspect into custody. There should be no further impact to the community.
