Today We Honor Deputy Jerry Ortiz. On 6/24/2005, Deputy Ortiz, assigned to a gang suppression unit, was shot and killed as he was searching for an attempt murder suspect in Hawaiian Gardens. His dedication to his family, community & will always be remembered.
