I’ve tried bamboo but they hurt my mouth. Planning to go electric so less waste

An unusual find today on a very wet . My husband reckons me picking up a wet bra off the beach is grounds for divorce... bit of an over-reaction 😱

Yes, that’s what I’m thinking but they are expensive....!

I am trying to find an alternative to plastic toothbrushes but haven’t got on with any I’ve tried so far. I was trying to think how to reuse these and thought about using them to stake my seedlings at the allotment next spring

Really helpful article for anyone confused about what plastics can and cannot be recycled!

I’ll have to give it a try. Definitely noticing the difference in the coconut oil

When I get it right, using coconut oil as a conditioner beats any commercial conditioner I have tried and there are no nasty chemicals used in its creation. Simply put a small amount through towel dried hair, leave for 20 mins and wash out

Make sure you support your local Macmillan Coffee Morning next week. I doubt there are many families untouched by cancer so what better excuse to eat cake and feel great whilst doing it

Very sad to say goodbye to our funny and obstinate cat Ernie. He finally tangled with something bigger than even he could handle.

After a break from social media and blogging I feel refreshed and ready to get back out there as Kirk and Bert. Just enjoying a lovely cup of loose leaf earl grey from the refill store. Tastes great and no or in sight!

It’s slow progress but the cupboards are starting to look different since we started going to ⁦⁩ to buy loose goods. I reckon by Christmas we will be pretty much there and no longer buying food packaged in !

The sea mist has made some beautiful sky’s in over the last few days. This was Sunday evening’s sky over St Ives.

🌱 After the success with the I tried another natural solution for the ‘powdery mildew’ on my courgette and pumpkin plants today. Just sprayed the leaves with a mix of 1 tbsp cider vinegar to a litre of water 🤞 🌱
