I remember when I quit Raven Software, an ATVI studio, after they canceled a game and put the studio on CoD support. Someone asked the COO “where is ATVI going to make new IP from if all the studios are just helping call of duty” and his answer was “we have Bungie for that” 😬

This was in 2010 and I literally left the studio like a week or two later and went to BioWare. There will come a time where Call of Duty and blizzard can’t float the entire company and unless something has changed lately, ATVI isn’t poised to build new, big IP internally

So basically look for Activision to acquire some up and coming studio or IP because they probably won’t build it internally.

At this point what IP’s does Activision have left that aren’t COD? I’m having trouble thinking of one.

Isn't Raven making a new Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the Switch? l believe it's supposed to be out this year. I could be wrong about the dev studio, but there is another one coming soon.

haha activision doesn't even have the rights to that anymore. It's being made by Team NINJA and published by Nintendo
