Making SECRETS OF CINEMA has been a brilliantly collaborative experience - a reminder of how much fun it is to work with people who love cinema, and want to share their knowledge, passion and craft with the audience. As Vinnie Jones once said: "It's been emotional ..."

My favourite review of SECRETS OF CINEMA: DISASTER MOVIES is from The Daily Mail's Christopher Stevens, who once again argues that we know too much. "Overstuffed with information ... a book squashed into a pamphlet". , our work here is done!

Reviewing SECRETS OF CINEMA: DISASTER MOVIES, The Times says "Kermode does this kind of thing extremely well. His cinematic knowledge is vast". In truth, it's the brilliant SoC team (led by et al) who deserve that credit. It's a huge collective effort.

This was *amazing*, once again I’m staggered at how many I haven’t seen and the connections between unlikely movies. Kudos to all!

Brilliant episode of Secrets of Cinema from and tonight. Bonus points for resisting the Towering Inferno poster anecdote.

Thank you for your Secrets of Cinema series.ive said it before and I'll say it again, I find invaluable as a future critic to look for tropes in each genre of movie. It's taught me so much. Please make more.

Replying to @bbcPoV @BBCFOUR and 2 others
was just as fun and far-ranging as the other episodes in this essential series with really perceptive insights. Never appreciated the influence of biblical epics before.
