Sherif, this is a great initiative but it is not working for all affected countries. I tried Argentina, Ecuador, etc and the full price is charged. How can it be solved? Thanks

It can be solved the way all developers commnicate with AppSec engineers... through a bug ticket :-) because it uses Github you can raise a Git Issue here: github.com/OWASP/owasp.gi…

Thanks, it’s something as a board member I have been campaigning for so its good to see it implemented. This is also the value of diversity to a team. As this was from a global perspective as not everyone can afford the membership cost outside of Europe & North America.

I love the idea and have been advocating for it in other communities too. This shld be stndrd in all global communities that embrace diversity. The financial differences could be bigger though (now 50 vs 20). And don't think Monaco should be considered low income country ;-)

Interesting idea.
What are the numbers based on though?
It seems the CAD membership and US memberships are the same amount though for more than a year the exchange rate has been about $1CAD to $0.75US....

Don’t think it’s anything that complex. I think certain countries membership is $20 dollars vs. $50 for annual membership, thats it.
