The offensive line is bad. Dimel schemed around it by running a QB behind a FB, RB and pulling lineman on every play. Now they’re trying to block straight up for Barnes and can’t do it. They either need to go back to that or recruit better players.

OU defense was bad. K-State had its share of poor games on offense (Vanderbilt, TCU) last year, too.

Kansas State's problems run deeper than one horrible fourth-down play against West Virginia. That's probably why Bill Snyder says he "can't coach a team that can't get 6 inches"

Bill Snyder says Alex Delton played “extremely well” against West Virginia. Thinks Skylar Thompson didn’t play as well as he was capable.

Last year, they went out of their way to create a numbers advantage with a fullback and running back blocking for the QB. This year, they're trying to block straight up for a running back. Not as easy.

Skylar Thompson and Andre Coleman are having a looooooong conversation on the sideline. Wonder how much longer the offense can sputter before it's Alex Delton time.
