Not enough anger at the launch of this morning. With the exception of it was all too restrained. Report contains overwhelming evidence that national policy for last decade has made lots of people poorer, iller, and shortened lives. Where's the outrage?

There is no excuse for poorly designed new development. Strong Local Plan policy is now (a bit) easier to defend in revised NPPF, early commitment to high standards and the right partnerships & financial/stewardship model can help to avoid this
