One's own bed at a time like this is a blessing. But so sorry you're poorly. (Not to finish a Kinder Bueno is really quite ill!)

Things better now I've discovered putting cucumber and lime slices and mint in water really does make it taste nice.

I do drink a little bit sometimes but I don't have the hard head I used to have. Miss the old me!

the only way I can not eat cake is to not have it in the house. But then I made cheese scones yesterday for no reason! it could have been cake so i suppose that's one good thing.

to be honest, giving up alcohol made zero difference to my weight. I developed a sweet tooth and think I compensate. I would't give up if it didn't make my heart misbehave.I loved being a hard drinking woman!

Not enough money! Make it at least £10 per head. (IMHO!)

My theory is, you only have to give up drink for a few hours a day. If you only drink in the evening, have a cup of tea at 5.30. This means at 6 you're not thirsty so don't want a drink. Then have supper early, and then you're ok. This worked for me. x

DD always gets very irate when parents of children who fling food around (because young, not bad) make no effort to just pick it up and leave the table reasonably tidy. Think people have never been waitresses/barmaids or have no imagination. And are very badly brought up!!! xxx

I'm appalled. The arrogance! But twenty quid to book each resto would people put off. When we all go on holiday we're just so grateful for someone who has room for all of us!

There may be a much better deal round the corner. Also, think how many people get that far. And if you've done it once you can do it again. Hugs from a stranger, far away! x

They do, and there needs to be a minimum charge, refundable from the meal when people come. Have heard that people book lots of places and then choose where to go. Shameful.
