Why is no international media covering this? More than 1 million people in Bolivia have taken to the streets to demand democracy & call upon President Morales to declare the a national disaster and let international aid in.

Have the masses become detached from their traditional ideologies? Religion still strong, especially fundamentalist Christianity, which preaches subservience to authority. Anti-intellectualism, resistance to safety net expansion, anti-immigrant feeling also popular.

Elijah Cummings to Trump in '17: “Mr. President, you’re now 70-something, I’m 60-something. Very soon you & I will be dancing w/the angels. The thing that you & I need to do is figure out what we can do - what present can we bring - to generations unborn?”

Women messing with men’s heads du jour: Lovely Judith with head of Holofernes, 1616. You will be seeing this exact composition a lot, because Cristofano Allori kept painting it. And today is his day.

Also, it's important to clarify abortion politics at every step, because so many people fall into lazy tropes, like "serious health consequences." I care about that a lot. Do you?

What said about third-tri abortion: "I support codifying Roe v. Wade while making sure that, during the third trimester, abortion is not an option unless the life or severe health consequences of a woman are at risk." Tulsi, what are "severe" health consequences?

Did you even notice that Tulsi made no third-trimester exception for fatal fetal anomaly? Catastrophic birth defects? Tay-Sachs? Rape/incest? Being 11? She's a forced birther. No need to contrast ab and bc. We need both.

So, Tulsi Gabbard , you think women should be forced to carry fetuses with fatal anomalies who will die in womb or at birth? What about Tay-Sachs? Catastrophic birth defects? Have you thought about your abortion position for two minutes?
