Unfortunately he doesn't quite stop him. He knocks the jackets out of his hands, I get the stroller out of the way & they land on my knee

They tell me I need surgery. But not right away because the swelling needs to go down. They need to realign my ankle with my leg that day.

So you know...there's some Demerol & the open cast is on & now I just have to wait for surgery. And hope the ibuprofen works fast

A few days later I go back for surgery. It's been awful. Because when the swelling goes down I can feel my ankle bones are wrong

We've also discovered that kid #1 will not take a bottle. At all. I have pumped all this milk & he won't touch it. Because kids are jerks

Then the spinal block wears off. I can feel everything. And my ankle which is now full of metal is made of burning & tears

So the nurse gives me morphine. It doesn't work. Pain goes nowhere. I feel a little itchy. I also feel very very angry.
