What is more strenuous; 1. Walking up a mountain from 800 meters to 2000 meters and half way down again, travelling over 9 miles? 2. Riding 3 horses, schooling two and hacking one, travelling approximately 8 miles?

Lovely to return home in time to ride all three ponies today. Thanks to Chloe and Jamie for taking care of them so well whilst we were away.

Today we are driving home through Germany and Holland, having enjoyed a very relaxing week in Austria. Tonight we take the night ferry from holland. Looking forward to riding my lovely horses tomorrow and commencing teaching again over the weekend.

Good first toolkit skills give you much more influence & make your work more ethical by reducing the miles & reps needed to make your horse more ridable. As you learn to organise YOUR body, he learns to organise HIS - to respect your boundaries and take responsibility for himself

The lorry broke down on our way home from Stretcholt EC this evening, so I had to ride the last 3+ miles home! Thank you to Andy, David Pineo and Coles for rescuing us!
