Thanks! I have a few more to show off... the entire beauty of the SOLO with cloud OBS is that you DON'T have to carry a lot of gear to keep the stream going. πŸ‘

And a hotspot form factor too, right? Something with good battery life that fits in another pocket?

You can sort of see it in the second pocket photo.

Good eye, and bad setup for the photo! During use that battery is in a back pocket and the USB goes up across my back, bundled with the HDMI. 270 degree angle for photo only

(but I definitely get what you mean, heh) Using the LiveU uplink for a single stream (Falcon Heavy) instantly convinced me it was something I'd get my money out of.

Since Feb 2018, if there's a rocket, launchpad, scientist, tank, helicopter, museum, astronaut, or cool piece of equipment in the video, it was done on a SOLO. Only Falcon Heavy was done on a "larger" LiveU device.

Good thing this isn't the backpack! This is the "simple" setup haha

The cool thing about the cloud OBS is that the stream stays live even if you can't hot swap the field gear. Sometimes I use a Canon G30 and have to turn it off for battery swaps. Cloud OBS just shows a temporary loss of signal screen, stream stays live.

Good Q... you sure can! Both the camera and SOLO have internal batteries and will stay alive while you swap to a new pocket battery. It's also legit to fly with two TalentCell batteries as they're both under the 100 watt-hour TSA limit.

I think he's already got most of it... just needs the smaller battery so you don't have to lug the full 50k mAh PowerOak around. The TalentCell has less USB ports, but is the size of 3 cellphones stacked back to back and weights almost 1/3 of the Oak.

Oh, they LOVE to look inside pelican cases. 🀣 Never an issue, just plan for an extra minute or two.

No problem! If you're walking around TwitchCon I'll be variously at the LiveU booth, the UnlimitedIRL booth, and on a few panels Sunday. Always happy to answer questions or demo the gear. Watch this space for an actual schedule at some point ha.

Monthly/Recurring: LiveU Bonding is $45 Cloud OBS has a few packages, ranging $80-180 YMMV on data plans. I started with pay as you go. If you mobile stream a lot and need unlimited, offers a full 4 modem package for $600 and includes the hardware.
