My grandparents had this. The "coal cellar" was an outdoor cupboard in their council house in Lanarkshire. My grandfather took me with the key, a bucket and a shovel - until I was old enough to be sent on my own!

I've never known a TV show 📺 where are so rife. The middle-of-the-night (GMT) scheduling, when only the most dedicated fanatics can watch, is a big part of the problem. Now apparently Amazon Germany have leaked episode 2 😱

Episode 2 in a few hours. I'm not staying up, so I'll need to disappear from - and all social media - until I can catch up tomorrow.

It’s a leg of lamb, if you hadn’t already guessed. I’m going to roast whole shallots in the last hour, then deglaze the pan & make a gravy with red wine & redcurrant jelly. Accompaniments are roast potatoes, asparagus & glazed carrots.

Prepping dinner 🍽 No rosemary, and the shops always run out this time of year, so I’ve prepared a rub from the herbs we had in the garden: sage, chives & a little thyme, plus lemon zest, garlic, seasoning & olive oil. Aroma filling the kitchen now...

Synonymous with cinema, for me. Where I saw Disney films, and where I queued with my mum to see Diamonds Are Forever, on release. Where I got knocked back from One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (too young). And where my teenage self sat through repeat showings of Yessongs.

We're having a mix evening at home. We take turns to pick a song and put it on the big telly. So far we've had Led Zeppelin (Stairway to Heaven), the Beatles (Hard Day's Night), Nina Simone (For All We Know) and Ali-A (Intro Song). Eclectic. 😄
