I was too sick to write a fundraising letter for Antiwar., but please take this tweet as an acceptable substitute. We're been right all along: Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq, Libya, Syria - and the War Party was wrong. We've earned your support! Donate:

Well, yes, but wouldn't it be nice to get *some* recognition for a change? I mean like a medal, a diploma, and award? I mean what did the Wizard give the Cowardly Lion - maybe something along those lines?

“Conservative” columnist mocking a man for continence, very classy! Jen Rubin’s idea of a healthy society is publicly subsidized drag queens teaching your kids how to put a condom on a banana, so long as we bomb Iran and give Israel whatever they ask for

We were attacked by the neoconservative enforcer in by who said we “hated America.” Buchanan, Novak, myself were purged! Fifteen years later, the enforcer has purged himself from the conservative movement.

Another contribution was to reach, for the first time, an audience in the millions. After 9/11 our traffic went through the roof and stayed there. The battle to keep the US out of Iraq we fought to the bitter end and we continue to fight it today.

Oh sure the neocon label would’ve eventually been resurrected by those who recalled Mike Harrington’s derisive term. But we popularized the term ,shortened it, and evokes precisely the required image: a war bird, perhaps a shrike.

In the run up to Gulf War I, antiwar.complied a key role in mobilizing the Buchanan campaign and coherering the paleocon opposition. We also mobilized increasing concern about the activities of the political sect know as the neoconservatives.
