Just wrapped up official signing ceremonies with Gov. Walz for two of my bills! * SF 1074 expands the life saving services that community EMTs can provide! * HD 10 is the pension bill we passed during Special Session. Glad these two important bills are now law!

We did it! A few minutes ago the Senate passed a comprehensive bill to attack the opioid crisis. I could not be prouder of the bipartisan effort that went into this, and I can't wait for the gov to sign it. Tonight is a big win for Minnesotans!

Today we reached a comprehensive budget agreement that takes care of Minnesotans and DOES NOT raise harmful gas taxes or tab fees. A win for MN families!

I am confident that we will reach a budget agreement, but it's our responsibility to be prepared for every eventuality. We have to protect Minnesotans just in case there is a shut down. It's always smart to have a backup plan.

It's always a good idea to have a backup plan. Nobody wants a shutdown, but the Keep Minnesota Open bill will make sure Minnesotans protected if it comes to that.

I hear about the cost of prescription drugs almost everywhere I go. Yesterday the Senate acted to lower costs for Minnesotans who depend on prescriptions like insulin or epi-pens every day.

Something that put a smile on everyone's face today: our friend and former Senate colleague Roger Reinert stopped by for a visit! Lt. Cmdr. Reinert is a member of the Naval Reserve, and he just returned from a year-long deployment. Great to see you again!

Minnesota is in good shape with enough money in our budget, reserves, and surplus! No need for a $12 billion increase in taxes over the next 4 years. 👍🏻

Senator is spot on: "It is time to give some relief back to the workers of this state. The farmers, the workers, the small businesses on Main Street Minnesota -- it's time we paid attention to them, and gave them some respect."
