Please stop justifying the "growing interest" in the field with a pubmed search. It's hard to find a keyword where there ISN'T an increase in papers. Here's e.g."banana". I award a virtual banana for anyone who can show me a keyword for which the plot shows the reverse pattern.

Two weeks after testing the incoming US Army recruits at Ft. Benning and isolating the 4 test-positive individuals, 22% of a class of 640 had contracted the disease, presumably from infections missed in the original screening.

Is everyone reading this??! I gotta break down this science real quick. This study compared COVID-19 mortality rates by racial/ethnic group AND age. It found: Among folks aged 35-44, Black people had a COVID mortality rate 9 *times* as high as whites.
