Senate Republicans have not agreed to vote on Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court. They've agreed to participate in Trump's scheme to invalidate the results of the 2020 election by stacking the Supreme Court He's talking about it openly!

Since we are talking about Trump and racism today, I'll just mention that Trump has accepted over $2,000 in campaign donations from a notorious neo-Nazi leader and has ignored numerous press inquiries about it and has not returned any of the money

I would say that's an atypical example of the Substack model for recruiting new writers. A much more typical Substack model is similar to their fellowship program where people are offered an advance.

5. The House passed legislation in May that the Senate has refused to take up. McConnell proposed a much smaller package which failed to get enough support. But now, the Senate has decided to just stop trying It's a stunning abdication of responsibility

3. In March, when the stock market briefly sank to 18500, there was an economic crisis. Now the stock market is back at 27,288.18 and the Senate has moved on. But for many, things are only getting worse.
