At the to watch Lord Sales sworn in as a Justice of the Supreme Court. Doesn’t seem very long since Lord Irvine, as Lord Chancellor, made him Treasury Devil (it was in 1997 and he was only 35). Still young enough to become president of the court or Master of Rolls
