I read all of them, including FT, Bloomberg, WSJ, NYT, etc. Of course many are biased but these Opinion pages in the WSJ really turn me off. I think these media companies are forgetting why we subscribe. I can get opinions on TV whenever I want :-).

Today's tells us we live in "profligate Democratic-run states" - I don't know about you but I think "The Gray Lady" of the WSJ has gone over the edge. I am no longer sure we can trust the WSJ as a business news source and it may become Rupert Murdoch's tabloid. Very strange.

Peter Capelli's article has some good points but I suggest it's really wrong. Surveys ask employees for their opinions, and when done well elicit hundreds of good ideas. Is he implying that AI will "figure this out for us?" I think not.

Happy birthday to James Baldwin. His book The Fire Next Time and I am Not Your Negro are among the best education on race anyone could find. And watch his YouTube interview with Dick Cavett if you really want to open your eyes to .
