Halfway through and three of my favorite films of the fest—Terrence Malick’s A HIDDEN LIFE, Abel Ferrara’s TOMMASO, and Werner Herzog’s FAMILY ROMANCE, LLC., are by veterans pursuing radically singular visions on their own unique terms. More films like these please.
