I once used Site Maestro to mass produce carbon copies of a Google Site: one per student. On the front of the site was a doc embed that I could update with links and it would show on every site. Kids then each have their own website with the teacher shared on it.

Maybe a slide deck with teacher content on slide 1 and then a slide assigned to each student where they can respond, design, etc?
