In just the last 2 days, I’ve received information about a ticket scandal at the 2003 Cricket WC in SA, a testing cover up for a prominent athlete at the SA Institute for Drug-Free Sport, corruption in SA boxing & SA swimming & more on the power struggle between SRSA & SASCOC!

A great exclusive now would be to ask Dr Bacher what has changed with SASCOC in last 11 months? Things have only gotten worse. So, millions were wasted on the commission of inquiry and will he pay his slice back? Funding which could help several athletes get to Tokyo Olympics.

Why is this even a debate - the hockey teams both qualified, they both go to the Olympics. SASCOC's selection criteria is so flawed that even if Kevin Anderson made himself available to play in the Olympics, he wouldn't get selected!

‘What is Sascoc’s mandate? Is it not high performance sport. What is happening to high performance sport where there is minimal spend while legal costs to Norton Rose is already a spend in excess of R20m.’ (email) - There has to be a vote of no confidence in the SASCOC board!

Unbelievable what’s now happening to SA athletes who want to compete self funded at All Africa Games ... Sports Ministry says they can go but it’s still up to SASCOC & SASCOC says it’s not up to them, it’s up to the Sports Ministry. Who is actually running sport in the country?

what the sponsors should be asking is how did SuperSport get the TV rights in the first place? Was it a clean tender? The answers in: Sport: Greed & Betrayal - available in all leading SA book stores.

This is a national embarrassment as the Games have already started and the IOC suspends countries for government meddling in Olympic Committee business. But maybe a suspension will be a good thing because SASCOC needs to be cleaned out!

Got the book on kindle. Going to start reading it within the next few days. Unfortunately something we’ve had to deal with since day 1. Most SA Olympic sports light years behind because of the corruption and systems in place. So sad. Been fighting to change it for years

SASCOC refused to pay for the u20 men's team since they do not form a part of SASCOC, the u23 team form a part of SASCOC but they not competing. SAFA footed the U20 team's bill just to honour their fixtures. Poor Fencer 💔, SASCOC is to blame for that one.

SA fencer, Juliana Barrett wins court case against SASCOC but is still denied a chance to compete at All Africa Games as accreditation deadline was missed and SA Men’s U-20 soccer team is on its way to Morocco to compete without accreditation. SASCOC vs SAFA - what a shambles!
