So great to have you at HC! Loved coming together as a (small, socially distanced, masked) group and sharing our stories of “living and learning in a pandemic”. 😷😂🎄

I noticed that, too. Yesterday it was closer to 11,000 while today was less than 10,000! Definitely concerning. I hope to see further information regarding the locations of the cases- cities Vs health regions.

I agree! I think a closure for two weeks after the holiday is most important to ensure any exposure over the holidays has the necessary time of isolation before returning to school.

Coming to grips with the fact that there are 2 ways I can start the school year: negative / questioning / complaining, or positive / collaborative and open minded. The more we can stick together and control what we can the better it will be for all!

As we open our school doors, remember there are alternatives to, "How was your summer?" I've been working to shift my own language & changing what I ask adult learners because it's important to be trauma-informed with all ages. Here are a few resources to get you started: 1/5

Sometimes I respond to what a person says and presume to know what they want. I can be generous but I may miss the mark. Asking someone “What do you need?” Is a gesture of hospitality. We give someone the freedom to respond without conditions. We support them and we learn much
